South Africa wary of Afghanistan cricket team

South African cricket team captain Graeme Smith said he and his men were wary of Afghanistan cricket team even after being one of the heavyweights of world cricket. He said that Afghanistan are a potential banana skin as they have many talented players and the big cricketing nations have never faced them. He continued that Afghanistan cricket team has overtaken all the the others in the minnow division but never played any of the big teams. Hence, none of the main cricketing teams can be sure of the Afghanistan cricket team and cannot take them lightly. He said that he read that Afghanistan opener Karim Sadiq said he was not afraid of facing Dale Steyn and he said he would not be either if he had grown up in a war zone. He said that Afghanistan have nothing to fear and nothing to lose which makes them dangerous. South Africa will play their league match of the World Cup Twenty20 against Afghanistan on May 5 in Barbados in the West Indies.

  1. South Africa and Afghanistan teams are both excellent in the cricket world. Both have talented players and they are all experts in this game field. However, as we all know, there is only one team who can be the champion in every tournament. Anyway, can anybody post who between the two teams got the champion trophy?
