Rashid Latif has made a sudden u-turn and is now going to continue to work with the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB). Latif changed his mind after discussions with the ACB and will now press on with the previously agreed terms.
The former Pakistan captain had quit shortly after his friend Kabir Khan resigned from the head coach role. Following Khan’s departure, Latif asked for a string of demands which the ACB rejected. Latif then decided to quit but he has now come back.
Latif will join the up with the Afghan squad when they hold their training camp from 18 to 26 September in Sharjah. This camp is in preparation for the tour of Kenya in October.
